Eating Healthy can be scary, intimidating or may seem impossible for some to do. Not to worry, I have these simple recipes for you, to make your day to day lives easier and healthier! It will require weekly grocery shopping, but won't cost much :).
It's time for breakfast! I have a few different options to choose from! This is the smoothie option. I love taking a cup of almond milk, one banana, a table spoon of peanut butter, a scoop of protein powder and a lot of ice!! I love blending it all together for a nice frothy milkshake texture! This is amazing for a post work out meal!
Granola. Granola is a crunchy, delicious healthy breakfast or even a snack! It has so many nutrients! One being protein. To add a bit of moisture to your granola, I love to add either some honey, or this vanana yogurt from trader joes! Bananas AND vanilla!!! WHAT?
Now, for a POWERFUL lunch! Here, I have a carton of brown organic eggs from Tj's, A light cheese stick, baby spinach, Flaxseed butter and garlic salt! Also, for a nice addition, you can also add Some sprout bread and a tomato! This is a great lunch or even breakfast! DONT forget the cheese stick.. It adds the best texture EVER.
As for another lunch or dinner idea, here is some baked chicken with a hint of garlic salt, squeezed lemon, on top of a bed of baby spinach! This is full of protein, and if you work night shifts, this will help you get through them!
As for an afternoon snack, I love making a cup of coffee, especially before a shift at work, with a red fuji apple! Another snack idea that I did not take a picture of is a lara bar, or even some pistachios!
